Pawhub Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Pawhub (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pawhub.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pawhub. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. In the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, you must be at least 16 years old to use this Service without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under these age thresholds. You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and comply with all applicable laws.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@pawhub.info of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.

4. User Content and Licence

You retain ownership of the content you submit (photos, text, pet profiles). By posting content on Pawhub, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and improving the Service. You represent that you have the right to share all content you upload and that it does not violate any third party’s rights.

5. Pets and Activities

You are solely responsible for your pet’s behaviour, health, and compliance with local laws and regulations. Activities arranged through the Service are at your own risk. Always exercise caution, follow safety guidance, and ensure your pet is properly vaccinated and socialised before meeting others.

6. Adoption & Rehoming

Pawhub provides adoption features to help connect pet owners who wish to rehome a pet with potential adopters. Pawhub acts solely as a platform

and does not broker, facilitate, or supervise any adoption transaction.

Pawhub does not verify the identity, background, or suitability of any user—whether listing a pet or applying to adopt one. We do not verify

ownership, health status, vaccination records, breed information, or any other details provided in adoption listings or applications.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting any adoption partner, verifying all information provided, and conducting any

background or reference checks you deem appropriate.

• You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable local, regional, and national laws and regulations regarding pet adoption,

rehoming, animal sale, transport, vaccinations, licensing, microchipping, breed-specific restrictions, and any required documentation or

permits.

• Pawhub does not process, hold, or facilitate any payments or deposits related to adoption. Never send money through or because of interactions

on Pawhub.

• Any adoption agreement, contract, or arrangement is strictly between the parties involved. Pawhub is not a party to any such agreement and

assumes no obligation or liability under it.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PAWHUB DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, INJURY, DAMAGE, CLAIM, OR EXPENSE ARISING FROM

OR RELATED TO ANY ADOPTION OR REHOMING ARRANGED, DISCUSSED, OR INITIATED THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE HEALTH,

BEHAVIOUR, OR LEGAL STATUS OF ANY ANIMAL, THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER, OR YOUR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.

7. Safety and Zero Tolerance

Use the Service responsibly. Pawhub has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Accounts that engage in harassment, fraud, animal abuse, or any harmful behaviour will be permanently suspended without notice.

If you feel unsafe, discontinue interactions immediately. Use in-app tools to manage visibility, block users, and report concerns. In emergencies, contact local authorities.

8. Location and Maps

Pawhub uses your location to show nearby pets and enable map features. You can control location sharing in your device settings or in the app Settings; certain features may be limited when location is disabled. Your approximate location may be visible to other users when you interact with map features.

9. In-App Communications

Messaging is provided to facilitate coordination between pet owners. You agree not to send spam, scams, abusive content, unsolicited advertising, or any unlawful material through the messaging features.

10. In-App Purchases

Pawhub offers optional in-app purchases including Pawcoins and premium subscriptions. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective refund policies.

Pawcoins are a virtual currency with no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. Unused Pawcoins have no cash value and are non-refundable.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device’s app store settings.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

· Misrepresentation or impersonation of any person or entity.

· Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive behaviour of any kind.

· Illegal activity, fraud, or solicitation for money.

· Uploading content you do not have rights to share, including copyrighted material.

· Attempting to interfere with, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service.

· Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions.

· Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.

12. Intellectual Property

Pawhub and its logos, features, designs, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our materials or intellectual property.

13. Copyright and Takedown

If you believe content on Pawhub infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request to support@pawhub.info including:

· A description of the copyrighted work.

· The location of the infringing content within the app.

· Your contact information.

· A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner.

We will review and act on valid requests promptly.

14. Third-Party Services

Pawhub relies on third-party services including cloud hosting (Firebase), map providers (Mapbox), payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play Store), and advertising networks (Google AdMob). We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data handling by these third parties. Your use of in-app purchases is also governed by the terms of the respective app store.

15. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY OF CONTENT, OR SUITABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PAWHUB AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pawhub, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your conduct, activities you arrange, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

18. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms, suspicious activity, or extended inactivity.

You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Remove Account in the app, or by contacting support@pawhub.info.

We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

19. Data Retention and Deletion

When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal obligations). Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days. Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

21. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of Pawhub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of the Service.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pawhub regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
